Flue clearances must be at least

300mm from the ground. Terminal

guards must be ﬁtted if the ﬂue is less

than 2 metres from the ground or if a

person could come into contact with

the ﬂue terminal.

1,200mm from an opening on the same

wall (ie: door or window leading into a

dwelling) in a carport with both sides

open,to prevent the build up of

combustion products.

600mm to a surface facing a terminal.

from the lowest point of the

balcony or overhang
