• Perimeter Only and Partial On Display: The
DS7445i LED Keypad currently does not
differentiate between Perimeter Only and Partial
On arming modes.
• Delay Alarm Output: This option currently does
not work as described in the programming section
of the control panel’s documentation. Alarm
output begins at the start of the event instead of
waiting until communication to the central station
receiver is complete, or there are two failed
attempts at communication.
3.0 Known Issues in RPS-INT’L
• Unbypassing a Zone from RPS does not
reactivate Zone: Using RPS to unbypass a
controlled zone when the system is armed does
not rearm that zone. The system continues to
ignore faults on the zone. No alarms from that
zone are generated. 24-hour zones unbypass
correctly. Use RPS to return the zone to active
status:
0. Disarm the area in which the zone is
assigned.
0. Unbypass the zone.
0. Re-arm the area.
• Changing RF ID: RPS allows you to change the
RF ID for a location without resetting the learned
characteristics for the transmitter associated with
the ID. For example, the control panel is
supervising an RF3401E Wireless Point
Transmitter, and the RF3401E’s reed
switch/magnet and sensor loop are in use. The
magnet must be in place and the sensor loop
must be normal for the transmitter to be normal
(not faulted). If you enter an ID for a new
transmitter for this location, both the reed switch
and the sensor loop must be normal before the
zone state is declared normal. To use only the
reed switch (or only the sensor loop), the ID for
the location must be removed at a keypad by
using the Installer’s RF Menu. See the control
panel’s documentation for instructions.
• Parameters Changed Report: After changing
control panel parameters, the correct procedure
to end the RPS session is to check Reset Panel.
The control panel might ignore some or all of the
parameter changes if the Reset Panel box is not
checked when ending a remote programming
session. If changes are made to the control panel’s
parameters through RPS and the remote
programming session is ended with the Reset
Panel box checked, the control panel does not
send a Parameters Changed report. If the remote
programming session is ended without checking
the Reset Panel box, the control panel sends the
Parameters Changed report.
• Arming from RPS: When arming from a keypad,
users can change the control panel from any
armed state to another armed state without first
disarming it. When changing armed states with
RPS diagnostics, the control panel must be
disarmed first before changing to the new-armed
state.
• Call RPS at Test Time: The “Call RPS at Test
Time” feature is not yet implemented in the
control panel’s firmware.
