POP NUT Inserts are

designed for use

in any sheet metal

a

pplication. They

allow the do-it-your-

selfer, as well as

the automotive

professional, to use bolts and machine

screws in place of weaker sheet metal

screws even when you can get to only

one side of the work.

POP NUT Inserts are knurled to keep them

from spinning in the hole. When forced

into the hole and set in place, the knurl

engages the parent material providing

high resistance to spinning due to over-

torque or cross threading. The “bubble”

of material over the backside means that

the insert will not pull through; even

when used in thin material. POP NUT

Inserts are made of zinc-plated steel

to provide strong, corrosion-resistant

t

hreads. Two different grip ranges

are available to accommodate most

applications. When installed, the low

profile head is nearly flush so no

countersinking is necessary.

POP NUT Inserts can be used to

attach luggage racks, mud flaps, side

moldings, rear window louvers, roof racks,

ladders, grab bars, truck bed hand rails,

wind deflection screens, custom ground

effects, almost any accessory to sheet

material.

POP NUT Inserts are stronger and more

reliable than sheet metal screws and

allow more flexibility in assembly and dis-

assembly.

Rivet Nut Tool and Kit

The robust POP NUT tool is offered in both

Inch (PNT-110-I) and Metric (PNT-110-M).

The tool has a setting capacity up to ¼”

(M6) steel and 10-32 (M5) stainless steel.

Also supplied in a kit, the PNT-110-I-KIT

(Inch Kit) and the PNT-110-M-KIT (Metric Kit)

contains 190 assorted rivet nuts and includes

mandrels and nosepieces for each size.

1. Low profile head means the insert is

nearly flush. No countersinking necessary.

2. Axial knurl keeps the insert from spinning

in the hole.

3. “Bubble” of material provides high

resistance to insert pull out.
