8.12 Storage Setup Tab

8.12.1 Storage Setup

The Storage Setup screen shows the currently

allocated drives for the OS, and all video storage.

8.12.2Modify storage structure

Click Modify storage structure to:

•Purge video that is already stored on the allocated hard drives.

•Allocate new storage space for video storage. Example: To add a DVAD JBOD Array, once connected

to the unit, the drive space must be allocated for video storage.

NOTES:

• Arrays can be added without deleting any of the existing stored video.

• Only Allocation buttons for the unallocated space can be modified.

• The system must be shut down and rebooted to start modifications. This will delete all previously recorded

video and create a new video storage structure.
