About this manual

This user manual is divided into four chapters. Chapters 1 and 2 provide

background information and chapters 3 and 4 provide detailed user infor-

mation as follows:

• Chapter 1 - Delegate Database - containing a brief overview of the Digi-

tal Congress Network (DCN) and an overview of the functionality of the

Delegate Database application.

• Chapter 2 - Getting started - containing details of how to start the Dele-

gate Database application from the DCN Startup screen and a descrip-

tion of the Help facility.

• Chapter 3 - Preparing for a conference - containing details about pre-con-

ference activities using Delegate Database and setting up the delegate

database. Information on how to work with names files, entering dele-

gate data, screen card options, viewing and screen configuration possibil-

ities, and printing the current names file.

• Chapter 4 - Applying Data during a Conference - containing details of

Delegate Database possibilities during a conference. Information on

downloading delegate data to the CCU, and exiting Delegate Database.

An appendix provides additional reference information that will be helpful

to experienced users. This consists of:

• A.1 - Overview of Delegate Database menus

• A.2 - Short-cut (accelerator) keys

• A.3 - Alphabetic index
